| The motor and motor controller used in Rhetech and Semitool SRDs have been upgraded. Any SRD scheduled to ship after June 15, 2008 will contain the new drive system. A major benefit of this new drive system is improved reliability, through used of updated components. The units also handle all customer supplied voltages. Thorough testing of the system was completed to ensure the new motor/motor controller combination is functionally equivalent to the previous drive system. Tests included acceleration/deceleration rates, speed control, and particle certification. Rhetech will continue supporting the earlier generation motor and motor controllers. Call Rhetech for spare parts or repairs, as needed. |
