Rhetech, Inc. was formed in 1993 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Semitool Inc. Semitool is a publicly held, leading manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment specializing in electroplating and wet chemical processing. It trades on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol SMTL.
Rhetech operates from a 32,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania (about an hour north of Philadelphia) in the United States. The company is vertically integrated with equipment assembly and remanufacturing operations contained within this facility. Our engineers are constantly working to create new tools, in addition to improving existing tools and processes. Our facility contains a vast array of manufacturing capabilities within our machine shop, poly shop, and electro-polish room; all of which provide support to the assembly area to create, repair, or restore all of our supported tools.
In the United States and Asia, Rhetech sells and services its products through a network of trained, highly qualified manufacturers' representatives and distributors. In Europe, customers work directly with Semitool Europe's experienced sales and service team.
