How
can you get Semitool process support for your remanufactured
Rhetech spray or ECD™ process tool?
|
The answer: a unique program between Semitool and Rhetech
that allows customers to acquire remanufactured Rhetech tools
together with support from Semitool process engineering. Some
recent examples include:
|

- The
June
2005 issue of Advantage described our work with a North
American IDM that needed a process guarantee and on-site
process support for an ECD tool. Semitool support included
ECD demonstrations before the sale at Semitool's lab in
Kalispell, MT, assistance in setting a plating specification,
and on-site support at qualification. The tool is now in
production for packaging applications.

- Since
then, the program has been extended to surface preparation
products. In this case, the customer needed a Spray Acid
Tool equipped with a unique HF/IPA vapor delivery system
to enable a new cleaning process. Semitool process engineering
developed the new process, which was then implemented at
the customer site after installation of the tool.
Both
projects were characterized by up-front planning and process
demonstrations, commitment to a process guarantee, and on-site
support for process qualification. The customers involved
in these projects also took out separate process technology
licenses with Semitool.
The
outcome:
cost effective production results using world class process
technology from Semitool.
