Need a major capacity expansion?
|
That's
what one North American IDM set out to do when it asked Rhetech
to supply a fully remanufactured Magnum series spray solvent
processor. Why the Magnum? This customer already had several
Magnums in production, and wanted to minimize issues related
to start-up, production qualification, operator training, and
ongoing preventive maintenance.
|
|
Rhetech
stepped up and provided a two module Magnum specially configured
to the customer's requirements. It included: new SMIF load/unload
ports using Asyst handlers; a complete remanufacturing plan
that incorporated Semitool's latest Technical Service Bulletin
upgrades; a list of customer-specific modifications; and an
accelerated installation plan that put a team of Rhetech and
Semitool service technicians on the customer site for twenty
hours a day during setup.
|
|
|
The outcome:
From date of delivery to the customer's dock, it took less
than twenty calendar days to move-in, facilitate, install,
and production qualify this complex, fully automatic production
tool. Covered by both a full parts and labor warranty and
an uptime guarantee, this Magnum is helping this customer
meet market demands for more of its industry-leading products.

Looking to make your Spin Rinser Dryers even more reliable?
|
|
|
Rhetech's new GPS Bowl Seal upgrade kit replaces the ferrofuidic
seal used on "S" series SRDs with a new, high performance
assembly. The new seal uses an N2 purge to create a seal between
the SRD bowl and the rest of the unit. Particle tests show
equal or better results compared to the standard seal, and
in normal operation there are no points of contact to wear
or ferrofluid to dry out.
|
|
The GPS Bowl Seal is standard on all new Semitool SRDs, and
the kit includes the parts (shown on right) and the
step-by-step instructions needed to make the upgrade. This
may be the last bowl seal you'll ever have to buy.
